You forgot to confirm your email address before your last deposit, so the bonus stayed locked while you played. With BetMGM, the usual mistake is skipping straight to the deposit field without completing the profile details that eligibility depends on. The steps below show what to prepare and how to claim the offer without losing it.
Account Security and KYC
BetMGM operates under a gambling licence that requires it to confirm who each player is before paying out winnings. The site protects your data with SSL encryption, so the information you type at sign-up stays private in transit. You still need to complete KYC checks before a withdrawal can be approved. Skipping or faking any part of that process only delays your money later.
KYC means sending a photo of your ID and a document that proves your address, such as a utility bill. The name on those documents must match the name on your BetMGM profile exactly. You can upload them through the account area once you are logged in, and the review happens before your first payout. Doing this early saves you from a frozen balance later.
Protect your account with a strong password that you do not reuse on other sites. If the service offers 2FA, switch it on so a code is required at each BetMGM casino login. Never share your credentials with anyone who offers to „manage” your bonus for you. A bookmaker will never ask for your password by email or phone.
Quick Checklist
Get these items ready before you open the sign-up page; each one removes a common cause of a rejected bonus.
- A government-issued photo ID in your own name, with a clear expiry date. The name must match what you type during registration.
- A recent document showing your home address, such as a bank statement or utility bill. It should be dated within the last few months.
- Access to the email address and phone number you will register with, because confirmation codes arrive there. Use details you can reach immediately.
- A payment method registered in your own name, with enough funds for the qualifying deposit. Third-party cards or accounts will break the KYC match.
How to Create an Account
Registration takes a few minutes, and the bonus is only attached once every step is complete.
- Open the BetMGM sign-up page in your phone or desktop browser and enter your legal name, date of birth and address exactly as they appear on your ID. Any mismatch will block verification later, so check spelling before you continue. To start with the promotional offer, use this Betmgm bonus page and follow the on-screen form.
- Create a password and confirm your email and phone number with the codes the site sends you. A confirmed contact is required before the bonus can be credited to your account.
- Complete the profile fields the site asks for, such as your preferred language and currency, and accept the player agreement. Incomplete profiles are a common reason a bonus does not appear after a deposit.
- Make your first deposit through the cashier with a method in your own name. The bonus is triggered by that qualifying deposit, so do not send funds from someone else’s account.
Loyalty Points and Rewards
The loyalty scheme rewards ongoing play, and points are generally earned on qualifying bets rather than on deposits alone.
- Points accumulate as you place eligible bets, and the rate can differ by game type. Check which products count before you plan a session around earning.
- Tiers are reached by collecting points over time, with each tier unlocking a different level of reward. Moving up takes sustained play, not a single large bet.
- Typical rewards include bonus credit, free bets and invitations to special promotions. The exact mix depends on your tier and on the offers running at the time.
- Points may expire if your account is inactive for a long period, so a quick BetMGM casino login now and then keeps the balance alive. Read the expiry rule once so you know your window.
- Watch for tier-specific promotions in your account messages, because some rewards must be claimed rather than credited automatically. Missing the claim window can cost you the reward.
Withdrawal Taking Too Long?
A pending withdrawal is normal while the site runs its checks, but a long delay usually has a fixable cause.
- Open your transaction history and confirm the withdrawal status; a request still marked pending has not yet been processed. Note the exact time you submitted it.
- Check that your KYC documents were approved and that the payout method matches the one you deposited with. A mismatch or an unverified document is the most common reason for a hold.
- Contact support through live chat or the email address listed in the help section, and give your account reference and the withdrawal date. Keep the conversation factual and ask for the specific reason for the delay.
- If support cannot resolve it, ask for the complaint procedure and follow the escalation route the operator provides. Keep copies of every message so you have a record if the dispute continues.
Bonus Terms That Decide Eligibility
The bonus rules set the conditions you must meet before any winnings from it become withdrawable. Wagering requirements define how many times you must play the bonus amount, and games contribute at different rates toward that total.
Time limits matter as much as the wagering figure, because an unused bonus can expire. Some offers exclude certain games or payment methods, which means a deposit made that way will not trigger the reward. Check these conditions before you deposit, not after you have played.
Using the Mobile Browser
The BetMGM casino app is not needed for mobile play; the site runs in your phone’s browser. Log in through the same account you use on desktop, and your bonus balance appears alongside your cash balance. Turn on notifications in the browser if you want alerts about promotions. A stable connection matters more than any download when you are placing a bet.
Common Player Questions
Why did my bonus not appear after I deposited?
The most common cause is an incomplete profile or an unconfirmed email or phone number. A deposit made with a payment method that is not in your own name can also block the reward. Some offers require you to enter a code during registration or at the cashier. If the bonus still does not show, contact support with your deposit reference. They can see whether the qualifying conditions were met.
Another frequent cause is a deposit below the minimum the offer requires, or a deposit made after the promotional window closed. Players who skip the terms often miss the game restrictions that determine whether the bonus counts. The fix is to read the offer conditions once before your next deposit. Support can confirm whether a missing bonus can still be applied to your account.
Can I claim the bonus if I already have an account?
Welcome offers are generally limited to new players, and an existing account usually cannot claim them again. The loyalty programme is the route for ongoing rewards on an older account. Points build as you play, and higher tiers unlock better bonuses and promotions. If you are unsure whether an offer applies to you, ask support before depositing. That answer decides whether your deposit should go ahead.
Some promotions are open to all players and appear in your account messages or the promotions page. These offers often have their own conditions, separate from the welcome bonus. Check the eligibility line before you opt in, because some are limited to specific tiers. If a promotion is not shown on your account, it is not available to you.
How do I reset my password if I cannot log in?
Use the „forgot password” link on the login page and enter the email address registered to your account. A reset link should arrive shortly; check your spam folder if it does not. Choose a new password you have not used elsewhere and save it in a password manager. If the email does not arrive, contact support and be ready to answer identity questions.
Players who cannot pass the security questions may need to complete a fresh KYC check before access is restored. This protects your balance if someone else has tried to reach your account. Never send your password to anyone who contacts you claiming to be from the site. Support will guide you through the reset without asking for your current password.
What counts as a qualifying deposit for the offer?
A qualifying deposit is one made through the cashier during the promotional period, from a method in your own name. The amount must meet the minimum the offer states, and some payment methods are excluded. A deposit that does not meet these conditions leaves the bonus uncredited. If that happens, support can tell you which methods are accepted.
Deposits made to another player’s account or from a shared card will fail the name match during KYC. Keep your deposit and payout methods consistent, because a mismatch can hold both the bonus and any winnings. The simplest approach is to use one method you control for both directions. That way the identity checks line up when you request a withdrawal.
Before your first deposit, finish your profile and upload your ID and address document so the bonus attaches without a hold. Then place your qualifying bet and confirm that the reward appears in your balance.
